Leningrad (St. Petersburg) philharmonic orchestra was founded in 1882. It is the oldest and best known symphonic orchestra from Saint-Petersburg.
[b]Not to be confused[/b] with [a=Leningrad Academic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra] and other Leningrad / St. Petersburg orchestras.
