John Howell
Trumpet player, died 17 May 1980.
Howell was mostly active in Chicago working with artists like The Impressions, Curtis Mayfield and Terry Callier but he also worked in Los Angeles for a while during the 1950's, playing trumpet on recordings by Stan Kenton, Shorty Rogers and Cal Tjader.
