Bernard Sumner

British musician, songwriter and producer.

b. January 4, 1956. Crumpsall, North Manchester.

Sumner was his mother's maiden name & is the surname on his birth certificate, he was adopted by his step father James Dickin.

Previously worked on a TV adaptation of The Wind In The Willows at an animation studio at Cosgrove Hall, Chorlton, Greater Manchester.
