Orquestra Ciutat De Barcelona

Spanish orchestra from Barcelona, founded in 1944 under the direction of [a=Eduard Toldrà] (1944 to 1962) and later under baton of (1962 to 1967), the orchestra was called [b]Orquestra Municipal de Barcelona[/b] until 1967, then (City of Barcelona Orchestra, or [b]OCB[/b]).
In between 1970s and mid 1990s was often called Orquesta Sinfónica de Barcelona or Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (more sources welcome).
Renamed since 1994-1995 as (Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra, or OBC).
