


Bernie Rincon
[b]Bernie Rincon[/b] was an American drummer from El Paso, Texas, best known as one of the early members of [a=At The Drive-In]. He joined the group's founders, [a=Cedric Bixler-Zavala] and [a=Jim Ward], alongside guitarist [a=Jarrett Wrenn] and [a=Kenny Hopper] on bass, in ATDI's first live show as a full band in October 1994 at the Loretto High School Fair in El Paso. Rincon recorded on the debut [i][m=275267][/i] 7" on [l=Western Breed Records] and participated in most other early concerts, including the band's first television appearance in November 1994 on the local KJLF-TV channel. His last performance with At the Drive-In was on 16 February 1995 at [url=https://discogs.com/label/2709110]UTEP[/url]'s Union Movie Theater. Bernie Rincon committed suicide shortly after, replaced by [a=Davy Simmons] in March 1995.
