Jerry Ross (born May 1, 1933, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA – died October 4, 2017, Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, USA) was an American songwriter, producer and arranger. He also founded the record labels [l=Heritage] in 1968 and [l=Colossus] in 1970. Those labels had Hits with artists Bill Deal & The Rhondells, Cherry People, Shocking Blue, Tee Set and George Baker Selection. As a songwriter, he often collaborated with [a=Kenneth Gamble]. He was married to [a=April Young] until her death in 1989.
