Max Merritt
Real Name: Maxwell James Merritt
New Zealand singer-songwriter and guitarist; born 30 April 1941 in Christchurch, died 24 September 2020 in Los Angeles USA. Max started to learn guitar at age 12, and at 15 he founded the group in 1956.
Max passed away on 25 September 2020 in L.A. California, following a battle with a rare disease at age 79.
Max was inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame on 15 November 2020.
