He appeared on some 1200 albums (leading to claims of the most recorded percussionist in history), spanning a career of four decades before his death in Stockholm of a heart attack at age 60.
Amongst others he performed and recorded with Operation Push with Rev. Jesse Jackson, The Artistic Heritage Ensemble, Odell Brown and the Organizers. Gibson, Donny Hathaway and Curtis Mayfield.
