Havoc & Prodeje

As the key members of early '90s West Coast gangsta rap group South Central Cartel (SCC), the Havoc & Prodeje duo became its own identity due to unfulfilled obligations with Quality Records. After Quality released SCC's first LP 87096, the label filed bankruptcy while SCC was signed for a 4 album deal. With Def Jam now showing great interest, the label struck a deal with Prodeje, allowing him to take the name to Def Jam but keeping the duo Havoc & Prodeje at Quality. Beginning with 1993's Livin' in a Crime Wave, followed with Kickin' Game in early 1995, finishing with Truez Neva Stop in 1997. Unfortunately, the duo's career never rivaled South Central Cartel's.
