Guitarist of [a=Modern Jazz] - formed in 1980, produced a single in that year entitled In My Sleep (I Shoot Sheep) and later evolving into [a=Blue Zoo]. They had a UK hit single in October 1982 called [r=139179], which charted at No 13. It stayed on the UK Singles Chart's Top 40 for eight weeks. The group disbanded in 1985. In 1986 Parry joined forces with record executive [a=Jazz Summers] and formed [l=Big Life] Records. His involvement with this company also features on [l=Raw TV Products]. As a manager he has worked with, among others [a=Soul II Soul], [a=The Verve], [a=Snow Patrol] etc.
