Zappa Family Trust

The Zappa Family Trust was founded on 15th November 1990 in Los Angeles during the lifetime of composer and rock musician Frank Zappa. With the exception of the rights transferred to Rykodisc in 1994 for the exploitation of large parts of the Zappa back catalogue of works, the company coordinates all business activities of the Zappa family. The company exercises control over the companies founded by Zappa, insofar as they are still active.
