Moved to Chicago in 1927, where he worked with and , to New York in 1929. Played with (1925-1927), (1927-1930), , Marion Hardy (1931), Charlie Turner's Acadians, (1931-1933), (1933), (1935, 1938, 1939 & 1941), (1939), (1939-1940), (1943), (1944-1945), (1946-1950), (1950-1951) and others.
