Real Name: Charles Eugene Teagarden (Charles Teagarden, Jr.)

American jazz trumpeter.
Born 19 July 1913 in Vernon, Texas, USA, Died 10 December 1984 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Teagarden played in his brother's big band in 1940, but soon branched off to lead his own ensembles. After serving in World War II, he played freelance in Los Angeles entertainment and recording studios. He played with Jimmy Dorsey in 1948-50 and Bob Crosby from 1954–58, and worked with Pete Fountain in the 1960s. He worked steadily in Las Vegas after 1959.
Brother of pianist , trombonist and bandleader , and drummer (Clois) and son of pianist .
