American artist born in Santa Monica in 1958 and raised in Los Angeles. Founding member of the LA post-punk band Savage Republic and instrumental post-rock band Scenic. Owner and founder of Independent Project Records and the associated graphic design firms Independent Project Press and Licher Art & Design.
