Kristin Mooney

American pop music, folk rock and Americana singer and songwriter. Married to pedal steel guitarist .
Born April, 28, 1963 St. Paul, Minnesota.
She first began performing professionally in college while at Saint Mary's University in Winona, Minnesota. After college she moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she continued performing live and started working as a session musician. Upon returning to MN in 1989 Mooney began working with various Minnesota musicians including , Martin Zellar, Beat The Clock, John Munson and George Scot McKelvey.
Mooney"s voice was often heard on the CBS drama Judging Amy with music written and performed by longtime collaborator Peter Himmelman.
