Freak Power
Formed by Norman Cook, Jesse Graham & Ashley Slater after the group Beats International disbanded in 1992, Freak Power (also listed as Freakpower) was an Acid Jazz styled electronic group with elements of Hip-Hop Funk based in Brighton, UK. The band gained three top 30 hits, two of which being the single 'Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out' (both the original '93 release and the '95 reissue). By Freakpower's final 90's release, the stand alone single 'No Way', Cook had decided to walk away from the project and focus on others, most notably the moniker Fatboy Slim.
