American guitarist, composer, mixing engineer and producer, born September 24, 1946, Manhattan, New York City as son of jazz musician Sam Donahue and actress Patricia Donahue.
Primarily known for his work in the British folk rock scene as a member of Fotheringay, Fairport Convention, and rock guitar trio The Hellecasters.
Father of Kristina Donahue.
