
Alan Ward
Real Name: Alan Ward
British mastering engineer, producer and mixer from Crawley (Sussex), living and working in Brussels (Belgium). Started his career around 1972 at [l=Morgan Studios], London, and later moved to [l=Morgan Studios, Brussels], where he became chief engineer in 1975. He continued working there until 1988 and subsequently held jobs at [l=ICP Recording Studios], [l=Jet Studio] and [l=Impuls Studios]. He founded his own mastering studio [l=Electric City (2)] in 1995.
Was a musician in the mid-seventies in London with protopunk band Bastard (with [a=Brian James] and [a=Nobby Goff], and later [a=Yves Kengen] after they moved to Belgium). Frequent collaborator with [a=Mike Butcher], with whom he played in several bands and had various studio projects.
