Real Name: Dennis Cordell-Lavarack

English producer & label boss (August 1, 1943 - February 18, 1995), perhaps most famous for producing [a=The Moody Blues] and the [a=Cranberries]. Cordell first gained fame in 1967 as the producer of [a=Procol Harum]'s A Whiter Shade Of Pale. Later, he sold out his share of [l=Regal Zonophone] to start [l=Shelter Records] in January 1970, that was home to the likes of [a=J.J. Cale], [a=Tom Petty], [a=Joe Cocker] and [a=Leon Russell].
Father of [a=Tarka Cordell] and [a=Milo Cordell].
