English Rhythm&Blues band formed in the early 1960s in Newcastle-on-Tyne (UK).
Line-up: (vocals); (keyboards); (guitar); (bass); (drums). After Alan Price left and the band further imploded, Burdon moved to America where he started a new line-up as , also known as Eric Burdon & The New Animals (1966-1969). Later reunions have taken place in various line-ups, see also and .
