David Price
David Price: A friend of Mike Nesmith before The Monkees, Price was the stand-in for Davy Jones on the TV show and he also travelled with The Monkees during their concert tours. Beyond numerous cameos on the show as an extra, you can also spot David playing drums during "Little Darlin'" on the 1969 Monkees television special, 33 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee. In 1969, Price became a member of the band Blue Mountain Eagle.
