Big Drill Car is a punk rock band from Huntington Beach/Costa Mesa, CA.
[1987] Big Drill Car was formed by Frank Daly (vocals), Mark Arnold (guitar), Bob Thomson (bass), and Danny Marcroft (drums).
[1988-1991] Big Drill Car signs a deal with [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Greg+Ginn]Greg Ginn[/url]'s Cruz Records, then releases [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/808987]Small Block[/url], a six-song EP, and their two full-lengths, [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/845538]Album Type Thing[/url] and [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/845545]Batch[/url].
[1992-1994] Thomson and Marcroft quit Big Drill Car. The duo were replaced by Darrin Morris on bass and Keith Fallis on drums. Big Drill Car releases [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/408527]Toured[/url], a live recording, and their final album [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/640792]No Worse For The Wear[/url].
[1995] Big Drill Car breaks up. Daly and Arnold later resurface in [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/All+Systems+Go+(2)]All Systems Go[/url].
[2008] The band reforms with the original lineup.
