Lenny Waronker

American record producer and music industry executive.
Son of Si Waronker, father of Anna Waronker and Joey Waronker, together with his first wife Donna Loren (1968-1986, divorced).
He start his career in the promotional division of Liberty in the early 60s. Later was hired by Warner/Reprise as producer, recommended by Dick Glasser and Jimmy Bowen and, in 1970, promoted head of A&R by Mo Ostin. He has worked with Maria Muldaur, Gordon Lightfoot, Randy Newman, The Doobie Brothers, Eric Clapton among others.
Waronker was president of Warner Bros. Records from 1982 till 1992, when he left the company and join the newly formed DreamWorks Records, which he ran, together with Ostin, for the following decade.
