Born April 7, 1942 in Yeadon, Pennsylvania.
Died December 17, 2007 in New York City, New York. (heart attack)
He was also credited for liner notes as a disc jockey with Philadelphia radio station WHAT-FM in the early 1960s. Worked with (among others) Charles Mingus, Bette Midler and the The Allman Brothers Band.
