Wendy McDougall

Australian freelance rock photographer, influential in terms of Australian rock photography (in the ilk of Tony Mottola), during the 1980s Australian rock scene. Has photographed many Australian bands, such as: The Angels (lead singer Doc Neeson being the subject of her first published photo), Crowded House, INXS, Divinyls, Midnight Oil, Mental As Anything, Midnight Oil, The Church, Iva Davies, Paul Kelly, Hoodoo Gurus, Gangajang, Chris Bailey (of The Saints), Boom Crash Opera, Noiseworks, and Diesel, amongst others. She also has photographed many international big names, including Mick Jagger & Tom Jones.

She worked as "Smash Hits" pop music magazine's Sydney photographer. Her photos are held in collections in the National Library of Australia, the NSW State Library, the Museum of Sydney, and the Power house Museum.
