John Dahlbäck

Swedish house musician, disc jockey and music producer, born 13 October 1985 in Ösmo parish in Stockholm. He moved to a small village outside Stockholm at an early age.

Both his mother and father are musicians, and almost everyone in his family too. Got in touch with housemusic by his older cousin [a=Jesper Dahlbäck] and John started to produce the music after that.
His first track got released by [a=Pawel Kobak]'s label [l=Route 33] and the first 12" came on the Chicago-based label [l=Deep4life].

John has since then released records on [l=Dessous Recordings], [l=Morris / Audio], [l=Tangent Beats], [l=Affected Music] and will release for [l=Shva Muzik], [l=Immigrant], Deeplay + more. A new label has also been launched by John and his cousin [a=Jesper Dahlbäck] called [l=Dahlbäck Records].

After he gravitated from techno to more house oriented sounds, he founded [l=Pickadoll Records] and later [l=Mutants Records]. Lately, he launched his solo label [l=Bajonett].
