Mardi Gras.BB

German blues, funk and brass band, formed 1992 by [a=Uli Krug] and [a=Jochen Wenz]. Known and credited early on as [b]Mardi Gras Brass Band[/b], they shortend the name after two studio and one live albums in 1999 to the widely known [b]Mardi Gras.BB[/b]. The "BB" also stands for "bold bold".
In 2005 the three core members [a=Uli Krug], [a=Jochen Wenz] and [a=Erwin Ditzner] formed [a=The Mighty Three].
In December 2013 songwriter and arranger [a=Jochen Wenz] left the group.
