Tragedy Khadafi

Tragedy Khadafi, born [a=Percy Chapman] on August 13, 1971, in Queens, New York, is a rapper and producer from the Queensbridge housing projects. He began his career in the mid-1980s as [a=MC Percy] in the group [a=Super Kids] and later joined the [a=Juice Crew All Stars]. After a prison sentence, he reemerged as [a=Intelligent Hoodlum], releasing two politically conscious albums in the early 1990s. Under the name [a=Tragedy Khadafi], he was instrumental in shaping [a=Capone -N- Noreaga]’s debut The War Report and continued to release solo albums through the 2000s and 2010s. He has also been part of groups like [a=Black Market Militia] and [a=QB Finest].
