Tiago Miranda

DJ: Tiago, a name synonymous with the Lisbon’s underground nights at Lux club (where he is resident for 25 years doing 7h sets in a weekly basis) and a Portuguese pioneer of the blend between all kinds of music. Also, Tiago has released twisted tracks and albums consistently for more than 10 years now, spreading his net across quality labels like DFA, Qbico, ESP Institute, Golf Channel, Public Possession and his very own imprints, Interzona13 and Outerzona13. He epitomises how the art of quality disco, house, techno & Jungle/Drum&Bass music should be done and played. In these glutted days of cut and paste edits, his care, passion and talent hark back to the origins of the musical movement. As a producer, DJ and musician, Tiago and his extensive discography have played a vital role in the reawakening of love and interest in the various shades of leftfield dance music over the last decade across the world.
Musician: Tiago was part of a liberation musical movement that he, with others, started in Lisbon in the early 2000s and currently makes noise music under the alias Pigxtar and releases noise avangarde music thru his labels Ruby Red Editora, Capitalists Inc and Odd-A-Lot.
