French music executive, record producer and songwriter (November 27, 1936, Casablanca, Morocco - August 3, 2019, France), best known for his partnership with [a=Jacques Morali] and their contribution to the disco craze of the late '70s / early '80s with acts such as [a=The Ritchie Family] and [a=Village People].
Belolo began working for [a=Eddie Barclay] before joining [l=Polydor] as A&R and producer in 1960. He then founded and moved to the US in 1973, where he met Morali and set up Can't Stop Music Productions.
