Alun Morgan

Welsh jazz critic and writer.

Morgan began writing on jazz around1950 and contributed to "Melody Maker" from 1952, "Jazz Journal" from 1951 and "Jazz Monthly" (1955-1971). He also wrote about 2,500-3,000 liner notes. Also a reviewer for "(The) Gramphone" magazine and a contributor to BBC radio programs about jazz. He was otherwise an architect by profession.
