American hip-hop duo, consisting of cousins K. Hansford (aka K-Def) and L. Wright (aka Larry-O), from New York.
They first came together at a house party where K-Def was spinning. Once Larry-O had rapped outside the jam for K-Def, the pair formed "Real Live".
They've together on and off since 1988.
