Gerard Purcell
Real Name: Gerard W. Purcell
AKA Jerry Purcell. American television, concert and music producer, songwriter, label owner and artist manager. Based in New York City he ran GWP, was President of Gerard W. Purcell Associates and started the label GWP Records. He managed artists such as Al Hirt, Nancy Wilcox, Eddy Arnold, September Jones and Hugo Montenegro. After his retirement from the music business set up a deal with Ace Records Ltd. to purchase his many of his R&B recordings. Purcell was born in 1915, died in 2002.
