Chopper Black

American musician, producer and recording studio engineer, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, born 1949. Known as "Chopper" Black or John "Chopper" Black.
He has worked with many of the major record labels such as Virgin, Capitol, MCA, Motown and Warner Brothers, to name a few, and has received multiple Gold and Platinum Records. Chopper's extensive knowledge in recording studios, audio recording, music production, TV and radio advertising, live performance and live sound allows him to teach his passion in the mentoring of students at McNally Smith College Of Music as an instructor and active recording engineer.
