Jon Drukman
Real Name: Jon Drukman
Jon Drukman has been involved with electronic music professionally
since 1992. His first single, [i]Trip Harder[/i], released under
the name Ultraviolet Catastrophe, was an underground hit.
It has since been featured on
the Chemical Brothers' mix CD [i]Brothers Gonna Work It Out[/i].
In 1993, JSD started Bass Kittens to put out his own work. A
string of 12" singles
followed, along with the full-length CD Sweaty Planet.
He has released a full length drum and bass CD entitled
Too Stoned To Sneeze Without Regretting It under the
artist name Random.
Some artists he has worked with/produced/remixed: Hardkiss
Brothers, Mark Pistel, Freaky Chakra, Single Cell Orchestra,
Volsoc, Planet Eater, Mephisto Odyssey, DHS.
In 2000 he started Pretension Records
with J Bondy & Justin Maxwell, with the aim of pushing West Coast electro.
He has written music for film ([i]Black Eyed Dog[/i]), TV ([i]Invader
Zim[/i]), performed live in front of thousands of pornographers ([i]2001
AVN Awards[/i]), and released several CDs of sample material through
Sony Media Software.
