Real Name: Derek Juneroy Johnson
Bassist from Manchester. Brother to A Certain Ratio's drummer Donald Johnson and Sweet Sensation (2)'s bassist Barry Johnson.
Please do not confuse with guitarist Derek Johnson (5).
He was a member of the first 52nd Street line up for their three Factory singles until the band decided to sign a contract with 10 Records. He wanted to stay with the Factory roster, so he left the band and was replaced by Tony Bowry. He also played for Quando Quango. In 1993 he adopted the nickname Derek Johnson and went to play along with Cool Down Zone's Myke Wilson in Swing Out Sister.
