Sandra Leano

Born: 18th January 1949, San Pedro, California, USA.
Died: 23rd April 1991, Albion, California, USA.

Leano was a 'wild-child' of the 60's freak-scene on L.A.s Sunset Strip, hanging out at The Insomniac on Hermosa Beach & frequenting the Intangible Tangerine. She became part of the retinue around Szou & and that was The Laurel Canyon Ballet Company. Much of this traveling carnival troupe became associated with an early tour of .

As 'Miss Sandra', she became part of 's project 'Girls Together Outrageously' aka . It was at Zappa's 2401 Laurel Canyon address, the infamous Log Cabin, that Leano met its basement resident and artist . Their relationship bore a daughter, Raven. The 'Miss' prefix, adopted by the GTO members, was inspired by the manner in which they were addressed by regular cabin visitor .

Leano later returned to San Pedro, eventually marrying an Italian and moving to Italy to raise a family.
