British/Jamaican pop singer and songwriter born November 3 1962 in Kingston, Jamaica.

Back in the '80s, Marilyn was one of Britain's most successful gender-bending rock stars. First a huge figure on the club scene, he soared to the top of the European, Japanese and Australian charts with hits like "[m=131666]" and "[m=131668]". He also modeled for [a=Jean Paul Gaultier] and [a=Vivienne Westwood]. He became known to U.S. audiences when he appeared in the 136704 music video for "[m=57277]''.

In the 1980s, he had a relationship with later singer and rhythm guitarist .
