

Chuck Jackson
Real Name: Charles Henry Jackson, Jr.
American singer, producer and songwriter, born March 22, 1945 in Greenville, South Carolina. He started his career as a songwriter in 1969 writing songs such as "If It's Real What I Feel" and "Walk Easy My Son" for [a=Jerry Butler].
In the early 1970s, he met [a=Marvin Yancy] and together they formed the soul group [a=The Independents]. After the group broke up Chuck and Marvin continued as a songwriter/producer duo and were behind some of 's biggest hits, including: "This Will Be," "Inseparable," "Sophisticated Lady", "Our Love," and "I've Got Love on My Mind". They also produced material for [a=Phyllis Hyman], [a=The Impressions], [a=Ronnie Dyson] and many other artists.
Chuck also had a solo career recording two albums "Gonna Getcha' Love" and "Passionate Breezes" under the name Charles Jackson. He is the half-brother of [a=Rev. Jesse Jackson].
