Orchestra was founded in 1957 as Opera-Symphony Orchestra Of All-Union Radio ([b]Оперно-Симфонический Оркестр Всесоюзного Радио[/b]) - the second orchestra of Soviet Radio. In 1991 orchestra and [a=The USSR Ministry Of Culture Chamber Choir] formed [a=The Russian State Symphony Cappella]
