Rapper from The Bronx, New York City. Born January 4, 1980. Drag-On got his start selling mixtape CDs/cassettes of New York artists such as future label-mates [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/59769-DMX]DMX[/url] & [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/67039-The-Lox]The Lox[/url], which lead to the Ruff Ryders head [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/1434770-Dee-Dee-22]Dee[/url] buying some and being impressed enough by Drag-On's own raps to sign him. Originally calling himself "Sabertooth Dragon", [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/59769-DMX]DMX[/url] suggested it would be better if he simplified it to Dragon and also suggested the stylized "Drag-On".
