Sarah Brown
Austin, Texas based blues bassist and songwriter. Brown was born in Chicago and grew up in Michigan. She was active in the Boston, Massachusetts blues scene before moving to Austin in 1982. In Austin, Brown took a gig as bassist for the Leroi Brothers then joined the house band at the club Antone’s, backing blues and R&B musicians at the venue from the 1980s into the early 1990s.
