Gene Farris

House music DJ and producer from South Shore, Chicago, Illinois, USA, active since the early 1990s. Known for his contributions to the Chicago house scene, he has released on labels such as [l=Relief Records], [l=Cajual Records], [l=Dirtybird], and [l=Defected]. He is the founder and owner of [l=Farris Wheel Recordings], established in 1998, which has released music from both established and emerging artists in the house and tech-house genres. In February 2001, the sublabel [l=Farris Wheel Limited] was launched as a spin-off, focusing on more organic and musical house productions.
