Born in Burlada in 1951, he studied high school at the Ximenez de Rada Institute in Pamplona. In 1971 he began university studies in Image and Sound at the Faculty of Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid. While he was studying at the university, he began his activity as a control operator and announcer at Radio Popular de Madrid 99.5 FM (1972-1973). He worked as an operator at Radio Popular de Madrid OM (1973-1977) and at Radio Popular de Pamplona OM as a control operator and announcer of the program “Más o menos rock” (1977-1981). As a recording technician he worked at the Soñua studios between 1981-1983. In the field of editing and production of records, he has worked between 1982-2011 in different record labels such as Nafarrock (1982-1983), Soñua (1982-1986), Oihuka (1986-1991) and GOR (1991-2011), with groups like Motos, La Polla Records, Barricada, Belladona, Cicatriz, Hertzainak, Jotakie, Kortatu. Potato, Tijuana in Blue, Baldin Bada, Delirium Tremens, Los Bichos, Los del Rayo, Negu Gorriak, Tahures Zurdos, 121 db’s. 7 Eskale, Argarth, Balerdi Balerdi, Beer Mosh, Berri Txarrak, Bihotz bakartien Kluba, Bizardunak, Criminal Brigade, Doctor Deseo, Exkixu, Filtter, Hemendik at!, Hesian, Josilouli, Julio Kageta, Ken Zazpi, Kerobia, King Putreak & The Belly, Kojon Prieto y los Huajolotes, Koma, , Lehiotikan, Lehendakaris Muertos, Lor, Mallacán, Manolo Kabezabolo, Marea, MCD, Parabellum, Skabeche Riber Band, Skalariak, Skunk, Su ta Gar, The Sparteens, Txapelpunk, Urtz, Vendetta or Zea Mays. He has also worked with international bands such as Chumbawamba, The Lords of the New Church and The Stupids from Great Britain, Berurier Noir and Bondage Records from France, on the compilation The Indestructible Beat of Soweto from South Africa, and Les Miserables from Chile. He left his professional activity in 2011. Throughout his career he has developed various collaborations in Pamplona radio stations, especially free radios, such as Radio Paraíso (1981-1982) and Eguzki Irratia (1983-1986) as well as in the commercial Basque-language radio station Euskalerria Irratia (2018-2019). In parallel, he has collaborated with various publications on rock music such as the satirical magazine Euskadi Sioux (1979) and the Bilbao music magazine Muskaria (1980-1982). He was a founding member of the comics magazine Tmeo, which was published between 1987 and 1990. He also contributed to the newspaper Egin (1977-1978). He has been a member of different bands such as John Brown 69 (1968-1970), Grupo de Café-Teatro Bululú (1973), Fuletamol (1978-1980), Motos (1981-1983), Fiebre (1984-1987), Balerdi Balerdi (1990-1998) and Peiremans (between 2005-2005 and 2015-2016). In 2016 he co-directed with Xabier Unanua the documentary entitled Córtate el pelo about the rock movement in Navarra in the 1960s.
