Dennis Payton

Dennis (Denis) Payton.

Born London 11 August 1943; married (two sons); died Bournemouth, Dorset 17 December 2006 following a short battle with Cancer.

Founder member of the Dave Clark Five. He played saxophone, harmonica and guitar for the popular 1960s band, and penned some songs too.

After the DC5 Dennis had a successful career in property management.
