

Julio Numhauser
Real Name: Julio Numhauser Navarro
Chilean musician, born January 4, 1939 in Chile, living in Sweden since 1975.
He is one of the three founders of [a=Quilapayún] in 1965. He left the band in 1967, and in 1967 founded "Amerindios" with Julio Salazar, a jazz musician. Artistic director on [l=IRT (2)] label in the first 70s. In 1973 his song "Mi Río", sung by [a=Charo Cofré], won Festival de Viña del Mar contest. That same year he exiled in Sweden after Pinochet's coup d'etat.
