Richard Strauss

Real Name: Richard Georg Strauss

German composer, born June 11, 1864, in Munich, died September 8, 1949, in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He is best known for his composition 'Also sprach Zarathustra', 'An Alpine Symphony' and the operas 'Salome' and 'Elektra'.
His father was the musician [a=Franz Strauss].
