Karen Jones
British classical flute (concerto soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, and orchestral) player, and Professor of Flute.
She studied at The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama. Principal Flute in the European Union Youth Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (for five years), the The London Chamber Orchestra and the City Of London Sinfonia. She taught at the Trinity College Of Music, London and the Royal Northern College Of Music. In 2004, she became Professor of Flute at the Royal Academy of Music.
Wife of Andrew Barclay, daughter of Martyn Jones and niece of Michael Jones.
