Ya Ho Wha 13

American experimental psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles, California (USA) led by Ya Ho Wha aka Father Yod (real name [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/1045845-Jim-Baker-3]James Edward Baker[/url]). Baker was the leader of the Source Family, a spiritual commune based in a Hollywood Hills mansion who also operated health food restaurant The Source, located on the Sunset Strip near Laurel Canyon. During a prolific 11 month period between 1973 and 1974, the Family recorded a series of jam sessions worth over 60 full-length albums. Initially 9 self-released limited pressings came out on Higher Key Records, their private label. They were sold exclusively through their store The Hermit Hut, which was next to their restaurant.
